Nour Kamel grew up in Cairo where she was exposed to art at a very young age through her family. She took on photography amongst friends at a very young age but it wasn’t until 4 years ago that she actually developed her strong passion for it and started to practice street photography. During her years living in Spain and France where she studied for her Master’s, Nour invested more time and effort in street photography, something she has only been increasing since her return to Cairo, now a year and a half ago. Her exhibited pieces are part of a broader project entitled “City of Color |City of Chaos” which aims to shed some light on the beauty that lies within Cairo’s chaos and that people often fail to see.
